I don't really hate churches.  Like some of you, I have had experiences with organized religion that haven't been exactly positive.  A friend of mine says there is an inherent evil in organization.  I think that is because organization seeks to control.  Control is about power.  Power can corrupt. 

Since all organizations (religious and others) are made up of people and mechanisms to provide control, they are bound to experience forms of "corruption".  That is not to say that all organizations are corrupt.  It is to say that all organizations battle corrupting influences.
